Painting intersection of Welfare road/Billy Folly planned for Sunday; Trench works on Monday at Bishop Hill road

GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), announces that painting works at the Welfare road/Billy Folly is planned for Sunday, November 8.

The painting works will commence at 6.00AM to 6.00PM on Sunday.

Trench works will be ongoing on Bishop Hill road intersection Belvedere road.  These works will be supervised by St. Maarten Cable TV and will start on Monday, November 9.

Trench works opposite PMC School will be carried out by NV GEBE with respect to the laying of new water lines.  This is an ongoing project.

Motorists are advised to pay keen attention to road crews who will be using heavy machinery to carry out the work.

Ministry VROMI apologizes for any inconveniences this may cause.
