PHILIPSBURG, St. Maarten – The prosecutor ordered on July 20 the extension of J.A.J.R.’s (41) detention with a maximum of eight more days.

The former VDSM head was detained on July 19 in the Tarpon investigation on suspicions of embezzlement and money laundering committed from 2011 till mid 2013.

J.A.J.R. had appear on Friday July 22 in front of the judge of instruction who check the lawfulness of his detention.
