NETTLE BAY, St. Martin – On Thursday, May 26, at approximately 5:00pm, the National Gendarmerie found a dead body on Nettle Bay beach, between the “Sand” restaurant and the former “La Belle Creole” hotel.

During the investigation, it appears that this West Indian man, who is between 35 and 45 years old, of normal weight, died by drowning. There was no trace of any trauma.

The physical and sartorial details of this person are: he was 1m74; had short hair and goatee beard with brown eyes. He had no tattoos, no piercings, no scars and no form of identification.

At the time of his death, he was wearing a white boxer branded “Parker” and a polo brand t-shirt “Hang Ten 2XL” with striped horizontal bands of light and navy blue.

For now, this man has not been identified. The National Gendarmerie is calling all witnesses, or anyone with information to contact the Marigot Gendarmerie Brigade at 0590 52 21 90 or dial “17.”

Appel à témoins – Découverte d’un homme décédé par noyade Le Jeudi 26 mai vers 17 heures, la Gendarmerie Nationale a constaté la présence d’un corps sans vie sur la plage de la Baie Nettlé, côté mer des Caraïbes, entre le restaurant « le Sand » et l’ancien hôtel « La Belle Créole ».

Au cours des investigations menées, il apparaît que cet homme antillais de 35 à 45 ans et de corpulence normale est décédé par noyade. Il ne présente aucune trace de traumatisme particulier. Voici quelques détails physiques et vestimentaires de cette personne :

– Il mesurait 1m74.

– Il avait les cheveux courts et une barbe type « bouc » rasée courte.

– Il avait les yeux marrons.

– Il ne possédait aucun tatouage, aucun piercing, aucune cicatrice et aucun signe d’identification.

Au moment de son décès, il était vêtu d’un boxer blanc de marque « PARKER » et d’un polo de marque « Hang Ten 2XL » rayé à bandes horizontales de couleurs bleu marine et bleu clair.

Pour l’heure, cet homme n’est pas clairement identifié. Aussi, la Gendarmerie Nationale passe un appel à témoins.
