PHILIPSBURG – In preparation for this year’s Father’s Day celebration, Soualiga Service Point/Punto Mio launched their “Look Alike Campaign.”

“It is very common to often hear the complaints of our male clients, that we only cater to our women customers and that there is never a promotion where they can participate and be eligible to win fabulous prizes,” the organization explained in a press release.

“We are happy to announce that we have been paying attention to your complaints and that we have listened and created what we hope will be a successful and fun social media campaign. The idea is for you to submit a picture with your ‘Look Alike Dad’ via our Facebook Official page. In order for you to increase your winning chances, you have to share your uploaded picture and your friends/family have to vote for your picture. The 2 pictures with the most votes will win awesome prizes like: a Go Pro camera (1st prize) and a family dinner valued at US $150,” the release continued.

In February, during the first social media campaign, contestants were able to submit their picture or tag Soualiga Service Point on their picture, and that would be their official submission. This time, however, there will be a voting app that will automatically generate the winning results as the pictures are uploaded via a URL link.

“We are hoping that with this method we increase transparency for our participants while enabling the results to be published much faster. The campaign kicked off on Friday, May 27, and will last until June 15,” the release stated.

Soualiga Service Point’s Retail/Marketing Manager Kenty Lichtenberg said that they are excited to see the submissions, and hope that it will be even more successful than the “Who Is Your Valentine” social media campaign that was held in February.
