GREAT BAY, Sint Maarten (DCOMM) – Ministry of Public Housing, Environment, Spatial Development and Infrastructure (Ministry VROMI), says its car wreck removalproject in collaboration with the Community Police Officers (CPO’s), have executed a successful round in the area of Cul de Sac during the month of November.

Over 50 car wrecks were collected and crushed. The total car wrecks since the commencement of the projects surpasses 100 cars, eradicating the hazardous environment these wrecks give birth to.

The project continues unto Fort Willem/Bush Road/Belair area. The campaign to successfully eliminate illegally parked vehicles off the public road will continue tackling all districts in the country.

Residents are urged to remove all illegal vehicles. Failure to remove any vehicles matching the description of unpaid road tax, outdated inspection, abandonment, or hazardous to public safety, will be removed upon notice and crushed.
